With our Solar Bonus, you receive an additional 50% on top of the market price you already received. So, with a market price of 6 cents, you get a total compensation of 9 cents per kWh during that hour!
No hidden costs, just more money for your solar power.
The total compensation is therefore:
market price – purchase fee + solar bonus
For new customers
The Solar Bonus is automatically included when you sign an energy contract with us via the button below. You don’t have to do anything else and can immediately benefit from the extra compensation.
For existing customers
Do you have a dynamic energy contract, or is your fixed contract with us ending soon? Then contact our customer service, and they will help you activate the Solar Bonus.
Alternatively, you can also find this under the "renew contract" options in the "Discover" tab in our app.
Solar Bonus with negative prices?
With dynamic rates, the electricity price can also drop below zero. You then effectively pay to feed electricity back into the grid.
You will of course not receive (or pay) a Solar Bonus in that case, but we do have the solution. With ZonVast, we ensure that your solar panels do not feed back when electricity prices are negative. You even receive compensation for that.
Conditions
You only receive the Solar Bonus if all conditions are met:
- Between 6:00 AM and 10:00 PM
- Only if the market price is positive (higher than €0)
- Only for energy from solar panels (so not from battery trading)
- The Solar Bonus applies up to a maximum of 6,000 kWh per year
- With a working smart meter (without malfunctions)
If it turns out afterward that the fed-back energy does not (fully) come from solar panels, the bonus may be adjusted.
