When the disconnection of your gas connection has been carried out by the network operator, we automatically receive a notification about this. We will then ensure that the gas supply is stopped and issue a final bill for the gas consumption. If you also have an electricity connection, that will simply continue as usual.
What do you need to do to disconnect the gas?
-
Find your network operator
Before submitting a request, first find out who your network operator is via MijnAansluiting.nl. Each region has its own network operator. -
Request the removal of your gas connection
Contact your network operator to make an appointment for the removal of the gas connection. Once the connection has been removed, we will automatically stop the gas supply.
Think carefully about this choice
- Costs of removal: Removing a gas connection involves costs.
-
Costs of keeping it: If you keep the connection, you will pay standard annual network operator fees.
(For example, you can view the rates for a connection at Liander. Note: your network operator may be different, so first check via MijnAansluiting.nl.)
Please consider these points carefully before deciding to have the connection removed.
